I was retiring from the US Air Force after a successful career. My experience for the past 15 years was something with little to no demand in the civilian market. There are very few jobs, if any, outside the DOD contracting realm where I could use that expertise. In my quest to move back to my home state, I needed to find out how to best exploit the managerial & human resources experience I had. I narrowed my field of expertise to a specific area since there was a big demand for it where I was going. Lori interviewed me and got my work history and evaluations. Shortly thereafter I had an amazing resume and cover letter that was very professionally written. Within a couple of weeks of applying for around 20 different jobs, AND having received phone calls from two different companies who found my profile and resume on Monster.com, I had three interviews in one week.
